Shep Fairey gets Busted at the DNC…

Getting busted is not a pretty thing, especially when it’s by police in riot gear who are disappointed that there has not been a riot.  Curious about just who and what is at the core of the Grassroots Artists movement for Barack Obama?  Watch the video.

p.s. - All the sweet gear you see behind Shep during the video, you can get from us.

The Best Party In Denver for the DNC!

imeem was on the scene at the Democratic National Convention, documenting the event through the lens of art, music and culture. They’ve got lots of video from the Manifest Hope gallery art exhibit, where Shepard Fairey and many of the country’s most prominent visual artists, including Ron English, Sam Flores and more, are showing work inspired by the current political climate. They’ve also got exclusive video from Unconventional ’08, a concert featuring Nada Surf, Cold War Kids, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Silver Sun Pickups, Z-Trip and some special guests, at a block party outside the Manifest Hope gallery. Finally, check out the photos that capture the electricity on the streets of Denver.

As for 008?  We are exhausted from throwing what NBC called the best party at the DNC.  Not like they count for too much.  We’re much more happy that our guests had a good time.
